Smøla Island and the Hitra Island are friendly, affordable to travel considering our environment, safety and friendly .The landscape scenery of ocean, rocks, cliffs and tiny islands floating above the sea level. The experiences felt closest like the feelings I felt from descriptions of tales and legends that I only read about in literature.
With base from the cities Kristandsund or Trondheim (The nearest airports) you can travel by ferry – preferably the electrical ones which are reliable, efficient, safe and has a informative level of service. I did that because of duration and time management – considerations in ordinary holiday budgets.

Chill, spaceous and cool ECO CAMP at Trettenes at Smøla.
It was the place with most space and very suitable for families with children! It was a lovely, comfortable and affordable place to stay for several nights at Smøla.
From a very caring and hardworking manager who told me of the ECO camp that the camp was an old school in original and that over 60% of all materials used of the fresh and trendy overall design + furniture design was recycled!
The ECO CAMP at “Trettenes” at Smøla Island is the best because looking and feeling fresh the place has affordable rooms and clean beds with peace and environment considerations in mind.

It’s hard to truly describe the feeling I got of panoramic, peaceful and ethereal landscape at this vacation at Smøla. The scenery of ocean, rocks, cliffs and tiny islands floating above the sea level felt like descriptions of tales and legends that I only read about in literature. You really need to travel there yourself to experience it.
Words, pictures and videos do not really describe the experience of “Smøla”. It is clean, calm and lots of space of ocean, rocks, cliffs, sky and pitoresque-like environment as very characteristics of the coast of Norway for humans – friendly just as the people who lives there.
